A loan of $400 helped to buy beverage dispensers, plates, and bags.

Angelica Concepcion's story

Angélica is a member of the “Mujeres De Éxito” [Successful Women] communal bank in the Calleria district, Ucayali department. She is 44 years old, single, and has two children under her care.

She has been a member of this communal bank for three and a half years. She sells food at parties on the week-ends and evenings. Many times the parties are very far from her house, and she has to transport her things. Thanks to her effort, she has her own transportation.

With the new loan for 1,000 soles she will buy three beverage dispensers, two hundred disposable plates, one package of bags, two gallons of oil, four packages of skewers, and one tank of gas.

With two children to care for she needs to go to work in order to be able to support them, and so they will not need anything. One of her children helps her transport her products.

Thanks to Manuela Ramos for giving them the loans in order to continue working without any problems.
