A loan of $1,000 helped to buy leather.

Edgar's story

Edgar, age 33, is single and has two school age children. He makes leather handicrafts at his workshop in the Avaroa area.

This is his first loan cycle with the institution. He will use the loan to buy leather to make his handicrafts. His reason for requesting this loan is to increase production. Edgar faces challenges in his business due to the competition. He will use the profits to increase his working capital.

His wish is that, in time, he will be able to have a large shop and export his handicrafts to different countries so that they see the quality of his work.
