A loan of $1,150 helped to buy stock merchandise for his store.

Leocadio's story

Leocadio is 33-years-old. His spouse is Grimanesa, 30, and they have five children. They own a grocery store they set up at home a year ago that Grimanesa runs while he’s out working his land caring for his coffee and cocoa bean plants that they’ve acquired over ten years of work. With profits from the store they buy more products and with profits from their crops they cover household expenses. However, even so they still need financial help so that the store can continue to grow because it’s the bigger income producer. In time he hopes to buy glass display cases to exhibit their products so that their store will look more orderly and attractive.

This is his first MFP loan and he feels good to know that he’s obtained a loan that will help him reach his business goals. In addition, he assures that he’ll be punctual with his installment payments because he’d like to access another loan. He will use these 3,000 new soles to buy a sack of rice and another one of sugar plus a variety of canned goods the store needs.
