A loan of $1,150 helped to buy merchandise to stock her store.

Angela's story

Ángela is 23-years-old. Her spouse is Teodosio, 30. They have a little boy, Henry, 2, who they love and wish a better future for. She’s had a home-based grocery store for three years. To earn the necessary profits she always tries to have it well-stocked with the products her customers request because that’s the way to keep them satisfied so that they will return to buy more. In general she works alone but sometimes her spouse helps out when he’s off work.

This is her 3rd MFP loan and she commits to continue making her payments like she’s done previously. She’s grateful to her communal bank because of the good way they treat each other. She will use these 3,000 new soles to stock her store with beverages, vegetables, rice and conserves, among others.
