A loan of $550 helped to restock existing products like betel, packaged foods, detergents and sodas, and to add new products like biscuits, wafers, and engine oil.

Gunasagar's story

Gunasagar is a 36-year-old differently-abled person living with his wife and two daughters aged five and two. He runs a variety shop where he sells betel, packaged foods, detergents and sodas. He earns 5000 Indian Rupees (INR) per month from this business, which is not sufficient for a family to live a happy life.

He has applied for a loan of 30,000 INR for purchasing more of what he sells and adding new products like biscuits, wafers, engine oil, etc. (as it is not available in the radius of eight km from his village) to his shop. He wants to add daily household consumables and cosmetics to his shop.

He has a dream that both his daughters work in a public sector unit and get married into a good family.
