A loan of $1,200 helped to purchase raw materials such as copper and bronze for her work.

Ana Maria's story

Ana Maria uses jeweler's techniques learned from her husband to create dazzling pre-Hispanic replica masks and vessels in bronze and copper. She would like to purchase raw materials such as copper and bronze for her work.

Ana Maria has been selling through NOVICA since 2001. This is her story:

"For 24 years I have dedicated myself to metalwork in the city where I married. My husband is an able jeweler, from whom I learned the art of working with silver and plaques. Today we have a small family workshop in which my children are also involved, and we work together with dedication, constantly developing new products. In my work I seek to recover the folklore and joy of the Andean people."

"I am so grateful to be able to offer my designs to so many families around the world, giving them a bit of the art and culture of my beautiful country. Thank you for your assistance with this microcredit loan."
