A loan of $3,525 helped a member to buy vegetables and other saleable items for resale.

Maranatha Lom Group's story

Kimneng (the one raising her hand in the photo) is a single woman with nine children to look after. Her husband passed away two years ago. Since then, she has been selling vegetables in the local market.

Every morning she goes to the nearby villages to purchase vegetables from the farmers. She buys and transports these vegetables to the market and resells them.

She requests a loan to enable her to purchase vegetables and other saleable items in large quantity to increase her earnings.
