Dinavence is 44 years old and lives in the town of Fort Portal in the Fort Portal region of Uganda. She is married and has six children, with five of them currently in school. For the past 13 years, Dinavence has been working hard to manage her small business, which sells spare parts.

To help expand her business, Dinavence has requested a loan of 3,000,000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to purchase more spare parts for resale, and will help Dinavence to generate greater profits and pay for her children’s school fees.

Dinavence hopes that in the future she will be able to increase capital in the business and she will buy more items like bicycle spare parts.

Dinavence is a member of BRAC's Small Enterprise Program (SEP). The program primarily serves small entrepreneurs like Dinavence who do not have enough collateral for commercial loans, but have businesses that have grown too large for microloans.
