A loan of $400 helped to buy fertilizer for her plantations.

Eudosia's story

Eudosia, 62, is a widow who currently lives with her son, Edson, 33, who supports her in everything. She is a very active woman who is always caring for her plantations of cocoa, coffee, coca leaves, mullein branches and roots. She has been in this line of work for 40 years and used to have her husband's support, but now it is her son who helps her. At harvest time she also has hired workers to help so she can finish the work sooner. After harvest she does the drying and then takes her produce to collection centers where she earns a good profit for every kilogram of product.

This is her sixth loan through MFP and she likes being a part of her communal bank, since she works with people who support her. She is also committed to paying back the loan on time, as with her previous loans.

With the 1,000 PEN, Endosia will buy fertilizer for her plantations.
