A loan of $2,050 helped a member to buy a lot of cassava for making 'pâte froide'.

Dogodogo Group's story

Kezie is part of the group Dogodogo and lives in Cibitoke. She is 50 years old and married to Phines, a farmer. Together they have six children, from 8 to 30 years old.

She has been doing commerce in 'pâte froide' for thirteen years. This is made from cooked cassava.

She is on her tenth loan with Turame. With this KIVA loan she is obtaining, she is going to increase her capital and buy a lot of cassava to make a large amount of 'pâte froide' to resell, so as to earn more.

In the next few years, she would like to see her children in school.
