Prudence 2 Group's story

Germaine, age 46, is divorced and has five children, aged between 10 and 31 years old. She has three children currently attending school. She also cares for her elderly mother. Germaine is representing the Prudence 2 group. She owns a small business, selling beans and peanuts at a market. She has had this business for more than 20 years! She has gained valuable experience and customer loyalty over the years. She will use the loan to buy more peanuts and beans to sell at her stand. Her business strategy is to sell her products near her clients' homes.
This is Germaine's first loan with HOPE Congo. Her group members and HOPE are confident she will repay the loan. Her future goal is to open a cement depot.
