A loan of $950 helped to buy hair extensions.

Némè's story

Némé has been a trained hairdresser since 2005. She is married to a serviceman, and they have three school-attending children in their care. They are 20, 17 and 14 years old.

Némé is well known in her neighborhood due to her talent. She's a home hairdresser. In addition to hairdressing, she also sells hair extensions, cosmetics, and pagnes (colorful African cloth) to her customers.

She's seeking her first loan from Kiva's partner, WAGES, in order to get supplies. She wants to put away her profits, expand her business, and ensure her family's vital needs.
