A loan of $500 helped to pay for repair and maintenance of her room rentals and arcade units.

Grace Nora's story

This is Grace. The married mother-of-one previously accessed a 50,000 PHP loan that she used for the repair and maintenance of her business's rental rooms and arcade units. Her earnings were a big help for the education of her child and in the family's personal, household and business expenditures.

She would like to apply for another 20,000 PHP loan to carry out further repair and maintenance in her room rental and arcade business, which caters to students and workers. Her profits will definitely help sustain her daily needs and meet the educational expenses of her child. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Grace hopes to be able to expand her business in the coming years. She faithfully meets up with her fellowship* members to share stories of her work every week and to draw strength and inspiration from studying the word of God.

*All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the word of God, build social capital, and repay microfinance loans.
