A loan of $2,975 helped a member to buy tires and inner tubes.

Mujeres Virtuosas Group's story

I present to you Gloria, secretary of the Mujeres Virtuosas ("Virtuous Women") communal bank. She is separated, 45 years old, and has two children who are in school. Due to her separation, she alone is responsible for household expenses. For this reason, she decided to start working with her cousin who had a tire repair business. Despite it being hard work, she performs it in the best way. With time, her cousin left her the business. Little by little, she was buying her own tools until she had a complete workshop where she offers tire service, patches, and second tires. Currently, she has an employee in her charge who helps her with the heavy labor. Gloria's work has allowed her to give her children a comfortable life and good schooling.

This loan's use will be to buy tires and tubes in order to offer good service to all of her customers. Gloria hopes to improve her business and to have a larger workshop. She is grateful to those who are allowing her this loan, both for herself and on behalf of her group.
