Houn-Kponou Group's story

The group HOUN-KPONOU comprises three persons who reside in the same district. This is the second time this group has requested financial aid from ALIDé to boost business. The group's representative, Mitondji Léontine, is the one in the photo with her hand raised. She is 48 years old and married to a retailer named Paul.

Mitondji Léontine did not attend school. The couple have four children. Some are in school, and one of them remains in their care. Mitondji Léontine lives together with her husband and child. The couple share in the different household expenses.

To help with the different family needs, Mitondji Léontine has been selling sewing supplies for nineteen years out of her home. This business enables her to meet her needs without much problem. She gets her supplies from a market in Benin.

Seeking to satisfy his customers and to increase his sales and revenues, Mitondji Léontine, along with the other members of the group HOUN-KPONOU, is requesting a second loan from ALIDé. The previous loan was indeed repaid.
