A loan of $850 helped to buy good quality firewood.

Rosbeny's story

Rosbeny has an arepa [grilled corncakes] factory that’s a family tradition and that generates income to contribute economically to her home and to move her 18-year-old son forward. She learned this activity while very young thanks to her parents’ teaching her so that she could work with them. Now, thanks to all the experience she has all her products are known for being of very good quality.

The greatest difficulty she's had in her business is inhaling the smoke from the stove every day which has caused her some health problems and sometimes she has to stop working for a few hours. Because during the winter it’s difficult to get good quality firewood at a good price Rosbeny is looking for a loan to buy good quality firewood and be able to afford the high winter prices.

Her greatest dream is to move the business forward so that her son can attend university and be able to progress. She also dreams with her family having the opportunity of having a better quality of life and greater economic opportunities to get ahead.
