Abdalla is 35 years old and is a boda boda (motorcycle) operator, operating in his rural community. He is married and has three children, and he has been in this business for the last two years. His business is doing great.
This marks Abdalla's second borrowing from Yehu to finance his business. He plans to purchase spare parts to service his motorcycle. He will use the anticipated profits to open a kiosk. He hopes to become a successful businessman.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
