A loan of $575 helped to purchase motor oil for the maintenance of her cars.

Margarita's story

Margarita is 36 years old and is married to José. They have two children together, Claudio and Mayela. They live in the home she bought eight years ago.

The shop where she used to offer telephone services closed recently, due to a lack of capital. In time she managed to save up a considerable amount of money, thanks to her husband, who works for an auto company as a mechanic. They used it to purchase two cars, which they rent out as public transporation (taxi). She gets paid 30 nuevos soles per day for this service.

This business helps her a lot with home expenses, mainly because it doesn't require much maintenance, since her husband takes care of oil changes and constantly checks the car. "Good maintenance allows them to be used as public transportation without any problems," she says. Now she hopes to save up enough money to reopen her first business, and she is sure she will be very successful.

She belongs to the communal bank IDME, and this is her 26th loan with MFP. Over all these years, she was able to improve her business, by being smart about the money and making the most of it. On the other hand, she once again promises to make her installment payments. She also enjoys being a part of her group.

Margarita will invest the money she has requested in the purchase of motor oil for the maintenance of her cars.
