A loan of $575 helped to buy more clothes for his business.

Hamisi's story

Hamisi, a single man living in the Kongowea area of Coast province, Kenya, owns a second-hand clothes shop, an enterprise he has been operating for two years. The challenge he is facing is insufficient monitoring of the business.

Having learned about Milango through a friend, Hamisi is requesting a loan of 47,050 Kenya shillings to expand his business through the purchase of more clothes to resell. The extra income arising from the loan will be added to his savings to pay school fees for his siblings. His plan for the future is to sell wholesale.
