Nzapa Nzoni Plus Group's story

Martin is a leader of a Community bank named “Nzana Nzoni Plus,” which is composed of 11 microentrepreneurs united in solidarity to receive loans from Kiva through IMF HOPE RDC with the goal of developing their businesses.

Martin 47, is married and sells Forever personal care products. He has been in business for years. He is working hard because his ambition is to become a Forever products provider in his area. As he wants to develop and diversify his business, he decided to join one of Hope’s groups in January 2009.

He is planning with the next loan to increase his Forever product stock to resell in order to increase his working capital. He makes a profit of about US $150 per week.

Martin has succeeded with good strategies to build up permanent customers. He always talks with his customers, he knows them well by their names, and he never runs out of stock.
