Exode Plus Group's story

Stephane is the chairman of the Community Bank named “Exode Plus,” which is composed of 18 members united in solidarity for receiving Kiva loans with the goal of developing their businesses.
Stephane has been part of the micro-enterprise world since 2004. He sells slippers. His business is located to the mid-west of Kinshasa. Stephane is happy to be one of HOPE DRC’s clients. He is a trustworthy client, having obtained and correctly repaid three loans.
The loan he will obtain next will be used to buy pairs of slippers in bulk to resell retail with the goal of increasing his profits. His business generates a profit of US$60 per week. Stephane is 40 years old, married and the father of five children whose ages range between 4 and 13. Four of them go to school.
