Maurice, age 61, is married, with five children, ages 15 to 31 years old. Currently, he has three children attending school. He also cares for his elderly father.

Maurice is representing the Dieu Est Bon 1 group. Maurice has been a "taximan" in Brazzaville for 10 years. He will use the loan to clean up and fix up his car. He feels it is important to do regular maintenance on his car.

Maurice also has a side business selling vegetables in a market. He enjoys doing different things and hopes to continue to grow his vegetable stand into a large operation.

Maurice has received three previous loans from Kiva's partner, HOPE Congo. He has a good repayment record.
