Nurzat's story

Nurzat is 37 years old and raising three children. To provide a source of income for the family, she is involved in breeding livestock. The business, started in 2001 with an initial sum of 25,000 som (KGS), today contains two dairy cows, ten ewes and one horse, and the monthly profit from sales of milk and dairy products amounts to about 3,000 som (KGS). In order to further develop her business, Nurzat requested a loan in the amount of 50,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum and Partners" company to buy sheep. She plans to invest the earnings into a continued expansion of her business by building a barn.
