The members of the SABOUGNOUMA 3 group are married women. They are on average 40 years old with four children and live in polygamous families in Nagnassoni, one of the villages in SIKASSO.
They cooperate with the Soro Yiriwaso micro finance institution in order to successfully complete their agricultural activities during the winter.
This is their second loan from the institution, the previous loan was correctly repaid.
The main product cultivated by Djeneba is sorghum, she is standing in the middle.
With her loan she plans to buy soil products and fertiliser and pay the costs for labour to maintain one hectare.
After harvesting, the production is sold in the village and at the market in SIKASSO, to a clientele of men and women.
She hopes to make an average profit of 95.000FCFA for each piece of land.
This profit will enable her to pay for her loan and help her husband with daily expenses.

Elles sont à leur deuxième prêt avec l’institution, le prêt précédent a été bien remboursé.
La spéculation cultivée est essentiellement le sorgho avec Djeneba debout au milieu.
Avec son prêt, elle compte acheter des intrants et payer les frais de labours pour entretenir 1hectare.
La production est vendue au niveau du village et au marché de SIKASSO après la récolte à une clientèle composée d’hommes et de femmes.
Elle compte réaliser un bénéfice moyen de 95.000FCFA par campagne.
Ce bénéfice lui permettra de payer son prêt et aussi d’aider son mari dans les dépenses quotidiennes.

Soro Yiriwaso is a microfinance institution that works primarily in rural and semi-urban areas of Mali to provide underprivileged communities with access to financial services.The organization facilitates access for disadvantaged clients, particularly women, to new resources and services, fostering solidarity and cooperation among its clients. Kiva lenders’ funds will enable Soro Yiriwaso to expand its outreach and target even more underserved Malians involved in business and agriculture.
