Kaliy's story

Kaliy is 62 years old and raised five children. To provide a source of income for the family, she is involved in animal husbandry. The business, started with an initial sum of 30,000 som (KGS), today contains one horse and ten ewes, and yields about 3,000 som (KGS) per month from sales of meat products. In order to further develop her business, Kaliy requested a loan in the amount of 70,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum and Partners" company to buy sheep. She plans to invest the earnings into a continued expansion of her business by building a barn.
