A loan of $650 helped to buy chicks, vaccines, feed, and vitamins in order to increase the size of his flock so that he can fulfill his orders.

Lino's story

The borrower is a married father of two children, who both attend school. He lives in his own home with his family and does not support anyone else. He has been a teacher and a member of staff at the Ministry of Education for quite some time, and he also runs his own business raising and selling broiler chickens. He intends to use this loan to buy chicks, vaccines, feed and vitamins in order to increase the size of his flock so that he can fulfill his orders. In the future he hopes to increase the size of his business and improve his family's standard of living. Consequently, he promises to repay his loan in full so that he can apply to Hluvuku again. The biggest challenges he faces are the high cost of living and the ever-increasing prices.
