A loan of $775 helped to buy 100 cheeses in order to stock the customers that she has in different cities.

Felipa's story

Felipa, age 61, is married and has six children. She now lives only with her son-in-law and her grandson. They live in the house she bought 25 years ago.

She suffered the death of four of her children, and she has been widowed for six years. Add to this all of life’s tests she has experienced, and none of these events discouraged her. She still has grandchildren and two children who love her a lot and need her.

Her main business activity is buying and selling cheese. She has been doing this for 40 years. Her work consists of buying the cheese in an area that produces it, which is four hours from the city. She buys the cheese and takes it to the city to sell for a higher price. She also has specific buyers to whom she takes cheese three times a week.

This is her fifth loan with MFP. During all of this time she was able to take advantage of the opportunities for growth that were presented to her. This is because she had the needed capital thanks to these loans. She pledges to make her payments punctually.

Felipa will use the loan to buy 100 cheeses in order to stock the customers that she has in different cities.
