A loan of $575 helped to buy more beauty products for her customers since they have already placed orders for perfume, creams and jewelry.

Johana's story

Johana is 24 years old and lives with her parents and two brothers in the house that her mother bought eight years ago.

For the past two years Johana has been selling cosmetics by catalog at the university where she is studying. Her principal customers are her fellow students and friends who come to her house. She offers her products on credit and then collects in installments. She has noted that this job has advantages because it enables her to study. Consequently she has proposed increasing her sales. She is now very close to graduating as an engineer in the food industry and is very grateful to have her business since it allowed her to pay for her studies.

She belongs to the “Mujeres Unidas” Communal Bank and this is her fifth loan from MFP. She is satisfied with its work since thanks to these loans she can expand her merchandise. This time Johana will invest in the purchase of more beauty products for her customers since they have already placed orders for perfume, creams and jewelry.
