Maura's story

Maura is 31 years old and lives in her own house with her husband and her son. The house is located in the Tambogrande District in northern Peru. They live in the rural part of the district, but she has electricity.

Maura is a person who always wants to give her son the idea that women can be an important part of the family, too, with respect to economic support, and she is very enterprising. That's why she identified the potential of a career selling the Esika, Avon, and Duprée lines of beauty products and clothing; she does two sales campaigns per month and has established customers in the area. She already has more than six years of experience in the business, which has proven to be well-received.

Maura's husband is a farmer, leasing land to plant corn. He is also the owner of two corn shellers that generate weekly income.

To continue consolidating her business, Maura is seeking a loan with Edpyme Alternativa. In particular, this loan will be destined for the purchase of clothing merchandise, since lately the orders are increasing considerably.
