A loan of $2,500 helped a member to purchase supplies to prepare her broaster chickens.

Siempre Unidas Group's story

Violeta is 31 years old. She has 1 small son who is three years old and who is the reason and motivation for all of her efforts to move ahead. She is a member of the "Siempre Unidas" ("Always United") group. This group is working on their third loan cycle with the institution. The 8 members have demonstrated that they are responsible people and punctual with their repayments.

For two years, Violeta has prepared and sold fast food such as salchipapas (hot dogs and fried potatoes), broaster chickens, and sandwiches. Every day in the afternoon at the door of her house she sells what she cooked that day. It's a job that takes her all day long, since starting very early she must do her shopping and during the day start to peel potatoes and prepare the sauces that accompany the salchipapas.

She will use the loan received to buy supplies to prepare her broaster chickens as well as to buy disposable items that she uses to serve them.

In this group: Violeta, Maria Felicitas, Cynthia Lady, Rafaela, Juan, Esther, Jose Felix, Maria Del Carmen
