Fibrije's story

Fibrije is an Egyptian woman from one of the two most vulnerable ethnic minority communities of south eastern Albania and lives in a major city known by all as home to Egyptians, where locals have long embraced this minority. Fibrije is 43 years-old, married and has three children, ranging in age from eleven to twenty years old. She has been selling used clothes, shoes and accessories at the second hand items market in the past ten something years, and all has been going good according to her.

Fibrije is applying for a Kiva loan through VisionFund Albania and this will be the first one for her. She wants to buy more items to expand her business and this is the reason for this loan. Her later plans include the building of a second hand clothing store.

Fibrije has been referred to VisionFund Albania from existing clients who speak very highly of her.
