A loan of $900 helped to buy video games and two television sets.

Maria Esperanza's story

María, 26, lives in the city of Estelí. She’s a single mother. She has two children who are 1 and 3 years of age. She tends to a business leasing Nintendo games. She’s had the business for three years. She started out with her own capital. She says that children and youngsters from the neighborhood visit her business constantly because not all of them can access the video games at home because it’s very expensive.

She needs a loan to buy video games and two television sets because being up-to-date with the games is fundamental for her business. The most popular videos in her business are Play Station 2. Among her plans is to expand the business more and to set up more video game consoles as well as to sell Nintendo accessories.
