A loan of $575 helped to buy a router.

Romers's story

Romers belongs to the “Nueva Era” (New Era) communal bank. He’s 22-years-old and single. He’s been a member of FINCA Perú for a year and a half. He owns a furniture making business. He says that as a member of FINCA Perú he’s learned how to save, something he didn’t used to do. He also learned punctuality and thanks to it his business has improved. He’s grateful to the institution for the easy loan terms they offer and also for the training he gets in his communal bank where they teach him how to manage his business. His dream is to form a large firm that will be known at the national level and beyond. The loan he’s requesting will be used to buy a machine called a router that’s used to shape pressed wood which is one of the materials used in furniture making.
