A loan of $375 helped to purchase fabric, zippers, thread, buttons, etc., in order to stock up and diversify the garments in her shop.

Laurinda's story

She's married and has four children, all of them adults. She lives with her family in a house she owns and also supports her mother, a grandson and a nephew who live with her.
She runs his own business making and selling various clothes. With this loan she intends to purchase fabric, zippers, thread, buttons, etc., in order to stock up and diversify the garments in her shop.
In the future she wishes to build a grocery store, so she can retire from her dressmaking work. For that reason she pledges to repay the loan as scheduled, so she can request more loans from Hluvuku.
The challenge she faces is the high competition, which ends up making it harder for her business to succeed.
