A loan of $525 helped to buy boots, sandals and shoes.

Terla Vadeza's story

Terla, 32, is a single mother; she has a son. She’s a kind woman who is very dedicated to her work. The only inconvenience she faces is her son’s health. He had problems at birth and must be under constant treatment.

Terla sells groceries and stationery supplies and also sells shoes, boots and sandals. She started out buying some pigs with money someone gave her and then used profits to buy sandals and shoes of various styles. She started the business ten years ago and still is in the same line of work. She works from 5am until 5pm. The only disadvantage is the time she puts into work she can’t spend with her son.

The loan Terla is requesting is to buy merchandise like leather boots, rubber boots, sandals and shoes for men and women. With help from this loan she will be able to stock her business which will help her increase sales and profits. Terla’s goal is to have a better-stocked business and to enlarge the locale. This is her first loan request to FAMA and she expects to make her installment payments punctually.
