Nubia Maria's story

Nubia is 51 years old and lives in the southern region of Honduras. She lives with her daughter and her husband, who is also a salesman and supports her in her business. She has had her business in the community where she lives for the past 20 years. Her business is located in an easily accessible area for her customers, in the center of the city. This is why she has many customers.

Nubia needs the loan to buy: "rosquillas" [a traditional bread] "quesadillas" [a traditional pastry], sweets, "espumillas" [a dessert made with egg whites and sugar], "churros" [fried sweet bread with cinnamon and sugar], candy, gum and other things for her business. The hoped for result from the loan is that her sales increase significantly; by purchasing a variety of products she will be able to satisfy the needs of each one of her customers.

The future plans that Nubia has are to grow her business day to day and make her business one the the best in the region. Also, to increase her profits to have a better quality of life.
