Kondokpo Group's story

The Kondokpo Group consists of three members who live in the same neighborhood. This is the sixth time that this group has asked for the financial aid of Alide in order to grow their business. The representative of the group, named Olarewadjou, is the one with her hand raised in the photo. She is 43 years old and lives in Benin. She is married to Tetede. The couple have six children, all attending school, of which four remain dependent. Olarewadjou lives together with her children and her husband. Together with her husband, she takes care of their various household expenses. In order to meet her needs, Olarewadjou has been in business for nine years, selling food products (wheat flout, sugar, and milk) in her neighborhood. She stocks up at the Benin market. In the pursuit of customer satisfaction and to increase her revenues and her income, Olarewadjou and the other members of the Kondokpo Group are asking for their sixth Alide loan. The first five loans were fully repaid.
