A loan of $775 helped to buy materials for her clothes-making business.

Higidia's story

Our member belongs to the CRISTO ASENCION DE RUMICHACA community bank in Urubamba, a province in the Peruvian "departamento" of Cusco.

She operates a clothes-making business. She makes suits, pants and blouses, to order. She normally works from 8:00 in the morning to 6:00 in the evening. The business is her means of supporting herself and getting ahead in the world. She says that her goal is to expand her business and that she will use this loan to buy the supplies that she needs--cloth, thread, buttons, etc.--to grow.

She says, too, that she is grateful for your help and committed to repaying your loans in the agreed-upon time.
