A loan of $1,150 helped to buy supplies for her food business.

Ermitania's story

Our member belongs to the CRISTO ASENCION DE RUMICHACA community bank in Urubamba, a province in the Peruvian "departamento" of Cusco.

She owns a small food business where she makes and sells dishes typical to this area: baked trout with a salad and fried potatoes and stuffed peppers, for example. She also sells chicha, a traditional Incan maize-based drink. For the future, she wants to improve and expand her food business. She will use this loan to buy maize and kitchen utensils that she needs to continue her business.

She says that she is grateful for your help and committed to repaying your loans in the agreed-upon time.
