A loan of $2,450 helped a member to pay for maintenance work on his taxi.

Las Innovadoras Group's story

Hello, good morning from the Peruvian people. Today I would like to introduce you to the “Las Inovadoras” group. They are a new group that has recently begun their first loan cycle, but they already know each other because they work in the same area. They are all independent workers who have a dream to improve their incomes and to also improve the quality of life in their homes.

One of the members of this group is Efraín, who is 25 years old. He has been working as a taxi driver for 3 years, an occupation that he learned from his father. His father also gave him the vehicle from which he now works.

Efraín uses the income he earns to help his parents and his siblings, who are studying in college.

Efraín dreams of becoming a professional. In order to do this, he is studying at an academy in his free time, and he is also saving some of his income.

The loan that Efraín is requesting is for doing maintenance on his car, because with the passage of time the car is suffering from some problems. Efraín is the second from the right, wearing a cream-colored jacket with a zipper. He is grateful for the trust that Kiva and Edaprospo are showing him.

* Above the rest of the group, there is a photo of Flor, with a brown coat and a red sweater and Lisbeth with a green shirt.

In this group: Efrain Javier, Norma Soledad, Hugo Jaime , Lisbeth, Cristina, Flor Ines, Marcial, Gabriela, Maria Luz
