A loan of $650 helped to buy fabric, thread, needles, elastic, and lace to stock her seamstress shop.

Wendolin Jaqueline's story

Wendolin, age 37, is a single mother, and she has three children. She lives in a village close to the Villanueva municipality in Cortes.

Twelve years ago she established her own shop for making clothes like pants, dresses, suits, blouses, skirts, and furniture slipcovers, sheets, and curtains. She used to work in a factory, and that is where she got her experience.

She is requesting a loan to buy materials like fabric, thread, elastic, and lace in order to make clothes. This investment will help her keep her business stable, and it will help her get the income her family needs. Her goal is to always keep her business active. This is because it is her source of income to support her family. Also, she wants to feel fulfilled as a person.
