Bahati is single and in his mid 20s. He has been selling chips for two years. He works from 9:00 a.m to 9:00 p.m daily and is able to make a fair monthly profit.

This will his 3rd loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. He used the previous loans to sell more chips and started selling chicken and fried bananas. He has paid for household expenses and was able to repay all his loans successfully. He now wants a loan to buy a sack of Irish potatoes and cooking oil. His dream is to one day own a hotel.

Bahati will share this loan with his loan group, "Rufiji," with 21 members who will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
