Esperance Group's story

Kahindo is secretary of the Esperance business group. She is married and the mother of four childern. Her husband is a civil servant at the RVA (air travel authority in the Democratic Republic of the Congo). Kahindo sells secondhand shoes in a market. She began her business with a loan through Hekima and has recently completed two cycles in the microcredit program. This new loan will help her to buy 20 pairs of shoes. She thanks Hekima for its support and for helping women entrepreneurs to gain independence.
