A loan of $1,200 helped to pay for pet shop accessories and items needed in her business.

Hayde's story

This is Hayde, 49, a resident of Pasay City, Philippines. Her husband is Ruben, a driver. She is a mother to her three children. She, together with her husband, manages their household while operating the business. At this time, she is working hard to continually provide income for their everyday expenses.

Hayde operates a pet shop. She offers different products such as fish food, aquarium tanks and accessories, and assorted live fishes. Her regular customers are her neighbors, the local community, and hobbyists. She earns a minimum of 1,000 Philippine Pesos (PHP) in sales every day.

To help her continue operations of her business, she is requesting a PHP 50,000 loan. She will be utilizing the loan to buy pet shop supplies and products needed in her business. She expects a boost in her business income as she expands her business.

Hayde hopes to be able to expand her business in the coming years and draw her family more closely to God. She also dreams of having her own house and lot.

She faithfully meets up with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her work every week and where she can also draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies.

* All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and repay microfinance loans.
