Chepita De Los Angeles

Nicaragua
Leon, Nicaragua / General Store

A loan of $425 helped to purchase rice, beans, milk, bread, eggs, oats, toothpaste, canned goods, fruit, vegetables, and juice.

Chepita De Los Angeles's story

Chepita is 38 years old and has a three year old son. She owns a general store and began her business five years ago. She sells “leche agria” (a fermented milk product), and also prepares made-to-order meals such as baked beans. She does all of the work herself. She would like to expand her business and sell meals in Chinandega. She would like to have a general store, and a food stall and sell “leche agria” in that city. She is requesting the loan to purchase rice, beans, milk, bread, eggs, oats, toothpaste, canned goods, fruit, vegetables, and juice because these products are much needed in the community.
