Clara's story

Clara is 54, married, and has three children. She was born in, and lives in, the town of Oropesa, 30 minutes from the city of Cusco. Her main livelihood is raising small animals such as guinea pigs, but she also has a small bookstore where she sells school and office supplies.

Clara is an enterprising and hard-working woman who was invited to participate in the “Virgen Asunta de Oropesa” communal bank in Asociación Arariwa.

On this occasion, Clara requires the loan in order to buy merchandise such as notebooks, pens, erasers and other items.
