Kunthea is 36 years old. She is married and lives with her parents and two children in Kandal Province, Cambodia. She has been working in garment factory for more than two years, earning approximately $4 daily. Her husband (who is shown in the picture) is involved in cultivating rice and fattening up cattle. He earns about $4 each day.

In order to improve her family’s finances, Kunthea is requesting a loan of $1000 to purchase more cattle to resell for a profitable price. By doing so, she will be able to financially support the family better. In the future, she would like to expand her business and help her children earn bachelor’s degrees. Moreover, she plans to build a new house as soon as possible.
