Agustinha is a 28-year-old married woman with six children, three of them are in school. Her husband is a farmer. She has a kiosk in front of her home to supply people in her village with basic goods.
Agustinha will purchase additional supplies for her store with the loan, including sugar, candles, oil, soap, and coffee. She opened her kiosk a year ago with a working capital of $400.
Agustinha lives in a simple house made of bamboo and zinc for the roof. She hopes that she can build a good house for her family and send her children to study.
