Maria Del Pilar's story

Maria del Pilar is single and 48 years old. Her business is the sale of handicrafts through different galleries. She started this business in order to raise her children, when they were young and were all in school, and her income was insufficient for this purpose. It was then that she found out about Leon 2000 and began to work with loans in order to meet her needs, which were increasing. Today she has achieved one of her greatest dreams, as her children have completed their university studies and are independent. She would like to continue counting on the support of Leon 2000 and the Kiva program which give opportunities to small business owners to achieve their goals, dreams and desires to improve. She wants the loan to buy different handicraft products such as clay houses, clay kitchen decorations, hammocks, traditional clothing, pots, vases, flower vases, large decorative figures, and rag dolls, among other things.
