A loan of $400 helped buy the ingredients and spices she needs to prepare the condiments that she sells.

Karina's story

Karina, 35, has always been a vigorous woman and a dreamer. She likes to accomplish what she proposes. She is married to Lucio, 46, with whom she has a 19-year-old son. Every day she leaves her house early in the morning to go to the busiest market of the city where she has a small kiosk of condiments or as it's known in the region, "spicery". There she prepares different combinations of condiments in order to sell them to her loyal clients who always go to buy at her kiosk because they are treated well, her prices are fair and above all, they get a little gift from her. She's had her business for 12 years and has always worked alone. This is her 15th loan with MFP. She has always been a good associate of her Communal Bank, where they love her because she is responsible and supportive. She is grateful to those who have offered her the loan so she can continue growing her business; she's certain she will continue being punctual with her payments as she's done with her previous loans. With the loan she has requested, she will buy condiments and spices to increase her variety of products, such as cumin, pepper, turmeric, garlic, coriander, stuffing, etc.
